✨ THE SECRET SAUCE
How Kids Discover Financial Literacy
It's not a lecture. It's an experience. Watch as your child connects kindness, behavior, and effort to real financial outcomes.
🍃
Earn Leaves
Show kindness, teamwork, and effort throughout camp? Earn leaves from our facilitators. Each leaf is a real reward for good behavior and life skills.
🌳
Plant Your Kindness Tree
On Friday, bring your leaves to your personal Kindness Tree. Each leaf you've earned gets added — physically building something visible.
💰
Convert to Kidz Cash
When a student experiences a market crash in the L.I.F.E. Agency, they understand risk in a way that no textbook explanation could produce.
This is the moment: Your child looks at their Kindness Tree full of leaves, realizes each one represents their own effort, and sees it become actual currency in their hand. That's when financial literacy stops being abstract and becomes *real*.

What They'll Actually Understand About Money
By the end of Day 5, your child will have discovered these core money truths — not through worksheets, but through play and real experience.
💪 Effort = Reward
Students buy and sell skill-based stocks that fluctuate based on weekly market events. Every lesson the market moves — and so does their portfolio.
🤝 Kindness Has
Real Value
The kids who were kind, who helped others, who were inclusive — they earned the most leaves. Children see that being good and being rewarded aren't separate things.
🛍️ Choices Matter
When you have limited Kidz Cash, you have to choose what you actually want. This introduces the real concept of trade-offs and priorities.
💚 Community = Security
In a market where kindness increases value, kids learn that relationships and cooperation actually *make you richer*. That's a lesson that lasts.

THE PROBLEM
What Happens Each Day
Five days of play, craft, market-building, and real financial discovery. Here's the thread that ties it all together.
Day 1
🌱Plant the Seeds
We lay the foundation. Kids meet their facilitators, learn the Kidness Economy rules, and start earning their first leaves. They'll create their own Kindness Tree design to take home.
Day 2
🏪Build Your Shop
Each child designs a small shop or stall where they'll trade their leaves. They create goods (crafts, cards, services) to offer each other. Real entrepreneurship begins.
Day 3
💰Market Day
We lay the foundation. Kids meet their facilitators, learn the Kidness Economy rules, and start earning their first leaves. They'll create their own Kindness Tree design to take home.
Day 4
🌳Grow Your Tree
Kids reflect on the week, count their leaves, add them to their Kindness Tree, and watch it come alive. They'll convert leaves to Kidz Cash and start seeing the numbers add up.
Day 5
🎉Harvest Day
Parents are invited. Kids showcase their Kindness Trees, their crafts, their passbooks. You'll see their pride. They'll take home everything they've created and earned.

⏰ HOW WE SPEND TIME
Why Ages 5–8?
This camp was designed specifically for this window of childhood — not adapted from something older or younger. Here's why it works so well.
🌱 What Makes This Age Group Special
Naturally Kind
Kids this age are deeply empathetic and love helping others. The kindness angle isn't a lesson — it's who they already are.
Story Lovers
Everything in camp is wrapped in a narrative — a garden growing, a tree being planted, a market coming alive. Story makes it stick.
Concrete Thinkers
Abstract money concepts are made physical — coins, cards, trees, crafts. They learn by touching and doing, not by reading or listening.
Ready for Big Ideas
5–8 year olds can absolutely grasp kindness, trade, and consequences — when it's taught the right way. This camp gets that right.
